Carys is an illustrator who has been a resident at Vivid Studios since November 2018. She is currently focused on editorial illustration, particularly for charities (once being described as the “go-to illustrator for all things modern slavery” – a niche she’s proud to occupy but hopes not to be confined to…) and is using lockdown to spend some much needed time on personal projects and learning how to create motion graphics. Her favourite thing about being a Vivid Studios resident is the people (cliche, she knows), especially when they let her win at pool, share their biscuits, and bring in their dogs.
